Women with early periods (early menarche) and late menopause impacts the risk of breast cancer because of longer lifetime exposure of female hormone called Estrogen (US English) or Oestrogen (UK English) to the breasts .Women with higher exposure may be at a slightly higher risk of breast cancer.
